Faculty Development is a valued component of effective teaching, learning, and assessment. Certain faculty development offerings will be required for all faculty in the near future and continuing education will be required of all faculty for reappointment.

Faculty development offers our medical school faculty the opportunity to improve their skills in the following areas:OFD

  • Teaching
  • Instructional Design and Curriculum Development
  • Assessment/Evaluation
  • Leadership/Mentoring/Career Development
  • Scholarly Activity
  • Personal and Professional Development

Three tiers of faculty development will be offered including the Basic Program, Intermediate Program, and Advanced Program.

Faculty Development can be offered in the following formats:

  • Online modules
  • Webinars
  • Face-to-face for groups (large or small)
  • One-on-one, if needed

Seminars, webinars, and workshops can also be designed to fit your individual needs.

We welcome your suggestions and ideas regarding programs and services for faculty. Please let us know how we can provide the most valuable programs for faculty support.
