Family Medicine

Joel Goode, M.D.
Dr. Joel Goode

Dr. Goode received his medical degree from University of Texas- Houston Medical School in 1994, and completed his residency in 1997 with Memorial Family Practice Residency Program, an affiliate of the University of Texas-Houston Medical School.  Dr. Goode is board certified in Family Medicine and established the Brushy Creek Family Physicians, P.A. with other physician partners in 1997.

Dr. Goode belongs to the Travis County Medical Society, Texas Medical Association, Texas Academy of Family Physicians, and American Academy of Family Physicians.

Internal Medicine

Louis Lux, M.D.

Dr. Louis LuxDr. Lux received his medical degree from The University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas, Texas in 1985 and completed his residency training in Internal Medicine at The University of Florida in Gainesville, Florida in 1988.  He is Vice President and Co-Founder of Central Texas Hospitalists and currently serves as Hospitalist at St. David’s Round Rock Medical Center and Medical Director of Lighthouse Hospice in Austin.  Dr. Lux is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine, American Board of Medical Subspecialties and the American Association of Hospice and Palliative Medicine.

Obstetrics & Gynecology

Kevin H. Brown, M.D.

Dr. Kevin Brown

Dr. Brown received his medical degree from the Medical College of Georgia in 1998 and, in 2002, completed his residency training in obstetrics and gynecology at the University of South Florida in Tampa, FL. Dr. Brown was Chief of the Obstetrics and Gynecology and co-chair of the Perinatal Safety Committee at Seton Medical Center Williamson in Round Rock in 2008. He maintains a position as reviewer for Obstetrics and Gynecology. His honors include recognition among the top 10% of all reviewers for the publication in 2007. He is also on the editorial advisory board for the national publications, Pharmacist’s Letter and Prescriber’s Letter.

Dr. Brown is certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and is a fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology

Pediatrics

Daniel Richards, M.D.
Dr. Daniel Richards

Dr. Richards received his medical degree from MCP Hahnemann University School of Medicine in Philiadelphia, Pennsylvania in 2000. He completed the Pediatric Residency Program at St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children, also in Philadelphia, in 2003, and is board certified in pediatrics. Dr. Richards is also a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics. He serves as Hospitalist with Dell Children's Medical Center and will serve as clerkship director for the pediatrics rotation at the Round Rock campus.

Psychiatry

Virginia Garay, M.D.
Virginia Garay, M.D.

Dr. Garay received her Doctorate of Medicine from the University of Miami, School of Medicine in Miami, Florida.  She went on to complete her residency training in Psychiatry at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio, where in 2007 she became the chief resident. While there, she received specialty training through a fellowship in geriatric psychiatry.  Dr. Garay currently practices at Lone Star Circle of Care in Round Rock as a Psychiatrist.

Surgery

Rodney Lewis, M.D.
Dr. Rodney Lewis

Dr. Lewis graduated with Honors from the University of Texas, Arlington and went to medical school at the University of Texas, Southwestern, in Dallas. He did his surgical residency and training at St. Paul Medical Center in Dallas. Dr. Lewis is Board Certified by the American Board of Surgery and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and member of the Texas Medical Association. Dr. Lewis began practice in the Round Rock area in 2000.
